Franco Arminio will preview his new book “Caraluce. Atlas of Invisible Countries” (Rizzoli) in an event that will be held on Monday, February 24 at 18:00 p.m. at the Feltrinelli bookshop in Piazza dei Martiri in Naples. The official publication of the volume is scheduled for the following day, February 25.
A World of Invisible Places
In his new work, Arminio guides readers through territories that blur between reality and imagination. “Caraluce” describes imaginary countries, enriched by poetic images and illustrations by Manuele Fior. The text promises to take the reader to places where extraordinary phenomena disturb everyday life, offering a break from contemporary realism.
The Importance of a Poetic Voice
Originally from Bisaccia in Irpinia, Franco Arminio is a prolific author and promoter of cultural activities that aim to preserve and revitalize small towns. He founded the Casa della Paesologia and the Festival La luna ei calanchi in Aliano. His latest work will be presented in Naples with the participation of Francesca Ritrovato, who will read some excerpts from the book. The event is open to the public, with free admission until all available seats are taken.

Franco Arminio's event seems interesting, but I don't know if I'll be able to attend. The book presentation seems like a unique opportunity to discover new invisible places and better understand his poetics. I hope many will attend.
