"Fuori Campo," a project promoted by the Arci Movie association of Naples, presents a new edition titled "Paths of Diffused Cinema for Audiovisual and Emotional Education." The initiative, supported by the "Cinema and Images for Schools" program of the Ministries of Culture and Education, is organized in collaboration with associations, schools, and universities.
This year, the goal is to raise awareness among young people about emotional education as a means of combating gender-based violence.
Opening with a prominent film
The inaugural event is scheduled for February 25th at the Pierrot Cinema in Naples with a screening of "C'è ancora domani" by Paola Cortellesi, which will be attended by approximately 300 students.

Education and collaboration on the territory
"Fuori Campo" activities will cover four provinces in Campania, involving schools and local organizations such as Kinetta, Zia Lidia Social Club, and Arci Spaccio Culturale. These organizations will coordinate events and training sessions for students and teachers, addressing issues related to gender violence. Additionally, associations such as Le Kassandre will be featured, offering psychological support and moments of reflection.
Program and films in review
The activities, which will take place between February and May, include 23 screenings of films and documentaries, as well as training sessions for teachers, with the participation of industry experts. Nearly 1.000 students and approximately 80 teachers from various educational institutions will be involved. The selected films include Italian and international works such as "Orlando, ma biographie politique" by Paul B. Preciado and "Normal" by Adele Tulli, which address issues of identity and gender. The project, with a strong educational and social focus, aims to use cinema as a tool for educating and understanding the reality of youth and to foster greater awareness and sensitivity among students in Campania schools.

It is interesting to see how cinema can be used to educate young people on such important issues as gender violence. I hope that students will participate actively and that the initiative will be successful in raising awareness.
