Expensive equipment, stolen from a construction site of the Naples-Bari High Speed-Capacity railway and abandoned on a piece of land, was recovered by the Carabinieri in the Melizzano area.
The thieves, who had stolen materials and equipment worth over 70 thousand euros, fled when the alarm went off, setting the military in motion.
Some individuals, still being identified, stole construction materials and equipment from the site, taking advantage of the temporary suspension of work during the night hours. The value of the stolen material is significant: over 70.000 euros.
The Carabinieri of the Frasso Telesino Carabinieri Station, assisted by the military of the Operational Unit of the Cerreto Sannita Carabinieri Company, intervened promptly after the report of the owner of the company operating on the construction site.
After an incessant investigation and investigation activity, activated immediately, the military managed to recover all the stolen goods well hidden on a private land in the Caserta area. The stolen equipment was immediately returned to the owner of the company.
