Giugliano – The Carabinieri of the Varcaturo station have carried out a rapid and decisive intervention, arresting two women for attempted aggravated theft in competition. They are Florentina Stan, 31, and Lenuta Luca Steluta, 27, both of Romanian origin and without a fixed abode.
The incident occurred in a supermarket on Via Ripuaria, where the two were stopped immediately after passing the checkout. In their bags and pockets, the military found a haul consisting of various products stolen from the shelves: among these, some food items and, in particular, numerous razor blades.
The women, caught red-handed, were immediately arrested. The judge subsequently validated the measure, while the recovered stolen goods were returned to the store. The operation by the Carabinieri demonstrates the attention of the police forces in combating predatory crimes in the territory.
