Sonrisa will continue to operate until next June: this is the decision of the Council of State, which accepted the appeal filed by the Polese family against the TAR ruling that had rejected their appeal regarding the revocation of their license by the Municipality of Sant'Antonio Abate.
The Administrative Court had established a 30-day extension, setting the end of activities for February 13th, but now the Council of State has postponed the deadline to June 5th.

The bureaucratic dispute between the municipality and the owners of the "Grand Hotel La Sonrisa" has led to further delays, after the Supreme Court of Cassation ordered the seizure of the building in January 2024 due to illegal subdivision. For now, activities at the Castello delle Cerimonie, known for Neapolitan weddings and lavish celebrations, will continue as normal.
