For the Unione sindacale di base, "what Jabil is doing is 'giving in' to the layoffs, because we are certain that the industrial outcome of this dispute, if left in the hands of TME, will become an inexorable abyss both for jobs and for the mountain of public money that Invitalia wants to guarantee."
For USB, a business sale "must occur only and exclusively within a framework guaranteed by the institutions," which is why it is asking the government to intervene "either directly by taking control of the plant or by seeking a credible industrial solution."
