A Caserta a 52-year-old Albanian national, on the run since 2000 with a 21-year sentence, was arrested yesterday at the end of an investigation that lasted about a year.
The operation was conducted by the Central Operations Service and the Caserta Flying Squad, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, the Albanian Criminal Police Department, in collaboration with the Office of the Security Expert in Albania of the Central Directorate of Criminal Police - Service for International Police Cooperation.

It's amazing how some people can remain at large for so long, especially with such a long sentence. I wonder why the police didn't arrest him sooner, but it's a good thing he was caught now.
