The Donnaregina Foundation for Contemporary Arts – Madre Museum is offering two special events this coming weekend: guided tours will be held on Saturday, February 22nd and Sunday, February 23rd, and are included in the museum admission price.
Guided weekend tours
Saturday, February 22nd at 11am.
30, the public will be able to explore the exhibition "Gli anni Cap.1" with curator Eva Fabbris, director of the museum. The exhibition, which will remain open until May 19, 2025, offers a fascinating retrospective of the history of art in Naples from the 1960s to the present, bringing together works from the museum's collection with the city's public and private collections. On Sunday, February 23, at 3:30 pm, the tour will be dedicated to pregnant women and new mothers. "Pre-Mother" is the name of the initiative designed to offer an experience sensitive to the needs of these women, transforming the museum into a place of comfort and care. This facilitated experience aims to emphasize the importance of art as a tool for well-being and creativity, starting in the first thousand days after conception.
Continuous museum programming
Museum admission costs €8 and includes guided tours, which can be booked on Eventbrite. These initiatives are part of a broader program that engages diverse audiences through workshops, family events, and special projects. Every weekend, the museum invites visitors to participate in these events to explore the relationship between art, culture, and community. Further details are available on the museum's official website.

The idea of visiting the museum with guides is very interesting, but I wonder if there are limitations for people with disabilities. The visits seem nice, but I don't know if they are suitable for everyone. I hope they are well organized.
