Social media is up in arms over Olly's victory at the Sanremo 2025 festival, and following the protests from the Ariston audience over the exclusion of Giorgia and Achille Lauro from the final five, Enrico Mentana added fuel to the fire this morning.
The director of the La7 news program recalled that the winner's manager is Marta Donà, the same as the 2021 winners Maneskin (who then left her), Marco Mengoni, who won Sanremo in 2023, and last year's winner, Angelina Mango.
Marta Donà, from Milan, ex-Sony and niece of Adriano Celentano and Claudia Mori is also the manager of Alessandro cattelan and by Francesca Michelin.
The web also reports that by chance three of the last 5 winners of Sanremo had the number 15.

In short, as always, the victory at Sanremo is divisive, and fortunately this year there's no controversy over Neapolitans and the alleged vote-buying packages.
Here are the manager's results related to the Festival:
2013 Marco Mengoni with "The Essential"
2021 Måneskin with "Shut Up and Be Good"
Marco Mengoni with "Two Lives"
Angelina Mango with "La Noia"
2025 Olly with "Balorda nostalgia"
Added to these numbers are also the two second places of Francesca Michielin, in 2016 and 2021 (with Fedez) and a victory at the Eurovision Song Contest (with Måneskin).

I don't understand why there is so much controversy over Olly's victory. Sure, the manager has a nice CV but in the end tastes are subjective and every year there is always something to say about the festival.
