For days he had not responded to calls from family and friends until this morning when the alarm went off in the condominium on Via Amatucci in Mercogliano, in the province of Avellino.
A 56-year-old man, who lived alone on the third floor, was found lifeless in his home by firefighters, who intervened on site with a ladder truck together with municipal police officers. The 118 health workers confirmed the death, which dates back to a few days ago.
