Naples – Thanks to video surveillance footage and eyewitness accounts gathered on the scene, the man who allegedly hit a janitor at a comprehensive school in the Sanità district has been identified. He is the father of a girl who attends the school, which was the focus of a protest in recent days by about fifty parents who had decided to withdraw their children from the classroom for a day.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred twenty-four hours before the protest: one of the parents, riding a scooter, hit the school assistant, who is currently hospitalized at the Cardarelli hospital in serious conditions, but not in danger of life. The man driving the vehicle will now have to answer for failure to provide assistance and serious injuries.
Investigations into alleged abuses and social reactions
The episode is part of a broader context linked to alleged harassment, never officially reported, that the janitor allegedly committed against a girl inside the school. The accusations emerged through word of mouth in parents' chats and their diffusion on social networks, fueling the climate of tension.
