Naples - A body in an advanced state of decomposition was found during the night by railway police officers along the tracks of the Metro Line 1.
The body, mutilated by the passing trains, was found near the Garibaldi station, in the direction of Cavour.

According to initial information, it appears to be a citizen non-EU citizen without documents, currently in the process of identification. By order of the public prosecutor on duty at the Naples Prosecutor's Office, the body was seized for an autopsy, in order to clarify the causes of death.
Investigations are underway to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident and establish any responsibilities.

It's disturbing how certain things can happen without anyone noticing. The subway should be a safe place for everyone, but apparently that's not always the case.
