Naples - A 27-year-old criminal was arrested in Naples after a daring car chase. The Guardia di Finanza, engaged in an economic control of the territory in the area of Corso Garibaldi, noticed a suspicious vehicle whose driver, at the sight of the military, ignored the stop and fled with dangerous maneuvers.

The chase ended in a side street of Corso Sirena, in the Barra district, thanks to the intervention of a second patrol, alerted by the Operations Room of the Provincial Command of the Yellow Flames.
During his escape he also damaged the Guardia di Finanza car.
In a last-ditch attempt to escape, the fugitive hit a service car before being finally stopped.
The man, with a criminal record for fraud and possession of weapons, was arrested for resisting a public official. He was tried with a summary trial and sentenced to six months in prison, with a suspended sentence.
