The Municipality of Naples is firmly aiming for the culture as a driver of development and launches six new calls for funding artistic and cultural projects, making available 2,4 million euro.
With this investment, the administration led by the mayor Gaetano Manfredi continues on the path already traced in recent years, aiming to consolidate the cultural identity of the city and to involve an ever wider audience. The six public notices, of which four already available online on the institutional website of the Municipality of Naples and two coming soon, cover different cultural fields, from audiovisual to contemporary art, from theatre to the valorization of historical heritage.
The first call is intended to support film and audiovisual productions who will choose Naples as the set for their works in two-year period 2025-2026.

By March 31, 2025 for filming scheduled between May and December 2025. Between May 15 and October 31, 2025 for projects that will start between January and June 2026. The second public notice concerns the famous "May of Monuments", with a deadline set for 10:00 on 24 February 2025The Municipality will finance a project for each Municipality, with the aim of enhancing the polycentrism and the culture spread throughout the city's different neighborhoods.
The third call provides financial contributions for exhibitions and temporary displays, strengthening Naples' vocation tocontemporary artThe projects will be aimed at public and museum spaces, redefining the identity of the chosen places. The deadline for submitting applications is the March 17 2025 at 10: 00.
The fourth notice concerns the review "Storytelling. Expressions of Polycentric Naples", a project which, now in its fourth edition, aims to bring live shows and workshops to all the neighborhoods of the city. The aim is to involve more and more public and stimulate new forms of collaboration in the territory. The deadline for participation is the March 24 2025.
