Naples – Extraordinary checks on commercial establishments and traffic in Miano, a neighborhood in the north of Naples. The operation, conducted by the Local Police of the Secondigliano Operations Unit in collaboration with the Iaes-Environmental and Abandoned Vehicles units, as well as the Scampia police station, led to several sanctions and measures.
The checks involved via Don Guanella, via Miano and via Madonna dell'Arco, where violations in health, environmental and administrative matters were found. In one case, the risk to public health made it necessary to close the business immediately. Among the irregularities found were the failure to display HACCP documentation, the absence of minimum health and hygiene requirements and the failure to comply with the separate waste collection.
On the employment front, one business was suspended due to the presence of irregularly employed workers, while another business was warned for failure to communicate the change of legal representative.
The checks also concerned traffic: six fines for illegal parking, five cars and two motorcycles removed because they were abandoned. Furthermore, in via Miano an illegal occupation of public land was ascertained and sanctioned.
The operation saw the collaboration of the ASL and the Territorial Labor Inspectorate, engaged in the competent checks.
