Naples – A storm over a school in the Colli Aminei area, where a circular addressed to parents and students replaced the word “bambini” with “bambin*”, using the asterisk for inclusive language.
The choice sparked a reaction from lawyer Angelo Pisani, coordinator of the Commission for the Law of Affections of the Council of the Order of Lawyers of Naples, who asked for the intervention of the ministry and the resignation of those responsible.
“This is an ideology that risks conditioning those who should guarantee serenity and growth to the little ones,” Pisani said in a statement. According to the lawyer, the use of the asterisk generates confusion among students and concern among families. “From Naples, a request for intervention will be launched to the competent institutions and a national campaign to protect childhood,” he announced.
The incident has sparked a debate on the use of inclusive language in schools, with contrasting positions between those who consider it a step towards greater sensitivity and those who consider it an inappropriate ideological influence in the educational context.

It's a complicated speech, the use of the asterisk confuses me, I don't know if it serves any purpose. Children should be treated as such and not with strange symbols that no one understands. Education is important.
