On the night of Valentine's Day, a lively night in the centre of Naples: a girl was the victim of a robber but the intervention of the soldiers of the Emergency Group of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples avoided the worst and caught a 31-year-old man, resident in Pozzuoli, in flagrante delicto.
In particular, the man, in a side street of Piazza Bovio, robbed a bag, containing money and documents, from a girl who was leaving a club, in the company of her boyfriend.
Chased and reached by the two youths, the subject was stopped by a patrol of the “Baschi Verdi” in the vicinity, alerted by some passers-by, and arrested, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
Following the summary trial, the perpetrator of the theft, with a criminal record for crimes against the person and property, was sentenced to two years and eight months of imprisonment, to be served under house arrest at his address of residence.
