Naples - Drug transporters 3.0 are young people with no criminal record and use means of transport such as electric bikes to disguise themselves as riders.
An 18 year old was in fact surprised by the police in Piazza Bovio with half a kilo of drugs on a bicycle.
It happened on Wednesday afternoon. The agents of the General Prevention and Public Aid Office, engaged in territorial control, noticed a suspect in via Monteoliveto.
The young man, on an electric bike, was carrying a large bag. At the sight of the officers, he changed direction in an attempt to avoid a check.
'intervention ended shortly after in Piazza Bovio, where the officers stopped the suspect. Inside the bag, 5 blocks of hashish were found, for a total of about 500 grams. The young man was arrested and placed at the disposal of the competent authority.
