Baranello – Seventeen years later, no one remains indicted in the murder of Lucio Niro, the 30-year-old bricklayer murdered on the night of February 10-11, 2008, while returning home to Baranello, in the province of Campobasso, after spending the evening with his pregnant girlfriend in Santa Croce del Sannio (Benevento). A shotgun blast struck him in the chest while he was driving his car, killing him instantly.
On the anniversary, the family members are once again demanding justice, so that the case will not be forgotten.
