Pozzuoli – He had just finished his shift and was returning home when he came across a suspicious scene: a carabiniere from the Quarto branch, still in uniform, noticed two men fiddling around a car parked along Via Campana.
The door had been forced open and the two were taking objects from the passenger compartment. At the sight of the soldier, the suspects fled. The carabiniere did not hesitate to chase them, simultaneously alerting the 112 operations centre to request reinforcements. Shortly after, with the support of a patrol from the lieutenancy of Bedroom, the two men were stopped aboard a Lancia Y.
The arrested are Fabio Hadzovic, 30, and Costantino Adzovic, 29, both already known to the police. Burglary tools and the stolen goods were found in their vehicle. Arrested in the act, they were taken to the holding cell awaiting trial. They will have to answer for aggravated theft and resisting a public official.
