Qualiano – A thwarted robbery in the middle of the night, a lightning-fast operation by the Carabinieri that led to the arrest of three people and the reporting of a minor.
The robbery had been planned down to the smallest detail: a group of four people entered a factory on Via Circumvallazione Esterna, equipped with a grinder to dismantle steel pipes.
The alarm, discreetly triggered, alerted 112. In a few moments, the military of the Giugliano in Campania radiomobile section surrounded the area, blocking every possible escape route. The team of thieves was caught in action, with no possibility of escape.
Among those arrested are Mirko and Giacomo Hadzovic, together with Valentino Sejdovic. They are charged with aiding and abetting theft aggravated, and are now being held in a holding cell awaiting trial. Also involved is a 14-year-old, reported for the same crime and subsequently returned to his parents.
A rapid and decisive intervention by the police, which avoided significant economic damage to the targeted company and reaffirmed the effectiveness of the control of the territory by the police.
