The discovery of the two fourteen-year-old teenagers, Ludovica Gentile and Samira Luongo, brought a sigh of relief.

Originally from Cassino and Casandrino respectively, the two young women had left the “Il Sorriso di Rita” community where they were guests last Friday.

This morning they showed up spontaneously at the Carabinieri barracks in Secondigliano.

The episode mobilized the entire local community. The alarm was immediately raised by community leaders, while family members and citizens took to social media in the hope of obtaining information useful for finding the missing person.

During the removal, the two girls' cell phones remained turned off, complicating the tracing operations by law enforcement.

The Carabinieri are investigating the escape

The investigators' initial hypotheses concern a possible prank, but more in-depth investigations are underway to determine the exact dynamics and motivations that drove the girls to flee the community. Investigators will continue to work to reconstruct what happened and clarify all aspects of the story.
