The Carabinieri of the Maddaloni Company, with the assistance of the Sarno Canine Unit, carried out an anti-drug operation in San Felice a Cancello, on Via Fosse Iacp.
The intervention was triggered following numerous reports of a suspicious coming and going of young people at the home of a 25-year-old, already known to the police for drug-related crimes.
During the house search, the drug-sniffing dog Luna sniffed out three plastic packages containing hashish, hidden in a drawer of the bedroom bedside table.
In addition to the drugs, 1800 euros in cash were seized, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity.
The 25-year-old was reported at large for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
