The art exhibition "Rediscovered Art, the Beauty of the Divine" will open its doors on March 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Villa Bruno. The exhibition will feature 16 paintings spanning the 17th to 19th centuries, works that are part of the municipal collection and were stored in a vault for many years.
Illustrious presences at the inauguration
The event will be open to the public and will see the participation of important institutional and cultural figures: the Prefect of Naples, the Superintendent of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the metropolitan area of Naples, a Professor of Art History, and the President of the Ente Ville Vesuviane. The initiative, promoted by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, is part of a project for the recovery and enhancement of the local artistic heritage approved by the Superintendency.
A cultural heritage to be rediscovered
The Mayor expressed great satisfaction, underlining the importance of these works as a symbol of faith and devotion of the local community, as well as a historical heritage that has united generations. The exhibition will be set up on the main floor of Villa Bruno and will be open until June 30, 2025. Visitors will be able to access more information via QR CODE, which will provide details on the opening days and times and will allow them to download the digital catalog. Each work will be equipped with a QR CODE for access to an audio guide, created with the collaboration of well-known actors.
