Neapolitan Andrea Settembre, aka Settembre, winner of the New Proposals of the Sanremo Festival 2025 with the song 'Vertebre' expresses his joy by thanking "every single person" who contributed to his success. Excited, the young artist declared: "I am grateful to everything, and everyone".

September's victory came after a heated competition with Alex Wyse and his song 'Rockstar'. The results were determined by a mix of votes, with 33% from the press, TV and web room, 33% from the radio jury and 34% from televoting. September also received the critics' award in the New Proposals section and the Lucio Dalla press room award.

It's really nice to see an artist like Settembre winning such an important festival. His music seems to have a deep and touching message. I hope he continues to have successes in the future and that people appreciate him.
