During a joint operation, soldiers from the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Company, supported by personnel from the Labor Inspectorate (Nil) and the Anti-Adulteration and Health Unit (Nas) of Caserta, carried out an inspection at a sushi restaurant in the city.
The owner, a 60-year-old of Chinese origin, was reported for failure to carry out medical checks for workers and fined €7.195,00. In addition, 15 kg of untraceable fish products were seized, while the woman was warned to remedy the health and hygiene violations found within 30 days.

On the environmental protection front, the Carabinieri of the Grazzanise Station, together with the personnel of the Ecological Operations Unit (NOE) of Caserta, carried out an inspection at a non-hazardous waste recovery company.
During the inspection, several anomalies were found, including exceeding the maximum permitted height for excavated earth and rock piles, the incorrect positioning of runoff collection grates, and the inefficiency of the sprinkler system. The company's director was reported for failure to comply with the permit requirements and fined approximately €13.000,00.
