Sorrento – Crackdown on drug dealing in the Sorrento peninsula: the Carabinieri of the Sorrento Sorrento they carried out a series of targeted checks, which led to the arrest of two alleged pushers.
The first to end up in handcuffs was Luca Terminiello, 20 years old, already known to the police. The young man was stopped while he was on board a Honda SH and, subjected to a search, was found in possession of 130 grams of hashish and 20 grams of marijuana.
The subsequent house search led to the discovery of another 20 grams of drugs, packaging material and 850 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. The 20-year-old is now awaiting trial.

Almost at the same time, the local station's military also arrested Matteo Caruso, 40, in the central Piazza Veniero. The man, already arrested on January 18, was stopped while he was on an electric bike. He had 16 grams of cocaine already divided into doses, as well as 430 euros in cash, presumably the proceeds of drug dealing.
Investigations continue to reconstruct the drug supply channels and combat the phenomenon of drug dealing in the area.
