A 32-year-old Chievo Verona fan was seriously injured after falling from the stands at the Breda stadium in Sesto San Giovanni, near Milan.
The accident occurred yesterday afternoon, around 16:30 pm, during the Serie D match between Pro Sesto and Chievo.

According to initial reports, the supporter lost his balance near a railing, falling from a significant height. Reading about this incident, I wonder how it is possible that the safety measures were not enough to prevent such a serious fall. Let's hope that the fan recovers soon and that some consideration is given to how to improve safety in stadiums.
