Torre Annunziata – As part of the Public Prosecutor's Office's efforts to combat illegal construction, a priority, an illegal industrial warehouse measuring approximately 400 square meters on Via Terragneta was demolished.
The demolition order, issued by the Torre Annunziata Court, was carried out by the owner under a self-demolition regime, without cost to the Municipality or the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.

Furthermore, it is classified as seismic zone 2 and included in the Red Zone due to the volcanic risk of Vesuvius.
This demolition complies with a 2005 ruling and represents a significant step in protecting the area, both for environmental restoration and as a deterrent against illegal building.

It is important that the demolition operation was done without costs for the Municipality. However, I wonder if this action will really lead to an improvement in the situation of illegal building in the long term and if there will be further measures.
