Donald Trump has made it known that he does not consider Zelensky's possible contribution to the negotiations aimed at ending the Russian-Ukrainian conflict essential. The Tycoon had already expressed himself similarly during the summit between the delegations of the United States and Russia held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) at the beginning of the week.
Zelensky has been labeled a “dictator without elections,” in the vein of what Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said before. Moscow believes Zelensky is a leader without legitimacy, as his mandate has expired and elections have been postponed.
The elections were postponed because Ukraine has been under martial law since the beginning of the conflict, a law that prohibits all electoral procedures.

The article explains the situation between Trump and Zelensky well but there are some parts that are not clear. It is important that the leaders discuss openly to find a solution. The elections in Ukraine are complicated.
