Vico Equense – A storm has erupted over the behavior of several municipal police officers who this morning received a notice of investigation for several incidents of absenteeism and improper use of service vehicles for private purposes. The measure affects 22 members of the force.
This morning, in fact, the military of the Guardia di Finanza of the Naval Station of Naples and of the Company of Castellammare di Stabia executed a search and seizure order at the Municipal Police Headquarters of Vico Equense.
The order, issued by the Torre Annunziata Public Prosecutor's Office, led to the acquisition of official documents, including registers, service records, and stamps, as well as the seizure of three cell phones and the memory of a computer used by Police Force personnel.

The investigation into building abuses began in 2023
The investigation stems from an environmental police operation launched in May 2023 to combat urban planning and landscape crimes. During today's operations, 22 notices of investigation were served on as many Municipal Police officers. Vico Equense.
