Chaos on the dock in the port of Marina Grande in Capri, where this afternoon over 500 passengers crowded together, mostly commuters, workers and groups of day tourists leaving from Sorrento and Castellammare.
The passengers, despite having a ticket, did not find the hydrofoil that had remained in Sorrento at its usual moorings, it is not known whether due to a breakdown or because of the rough seas.
A protest broke out, and unable to find an alternative means of returning to land, the passengers blocked the departure of the Snav hydrofoil Altair with over 300 passengers on board, which was ready to weigh anchor at 16 pm.

After a delay of about an hour, the Altair hydrofoil was able to weigh anchor and continue its journey to Naples with over 300 passengers on board. The situation gradually returned to normal on the Capri-Naples route with subsequent sailings.
