The program of interventions for the remaking of horizontal road signs throughout the municipal area of Via Volpicelli is a celebration last night. arzano.
The project is coordinated by the Municipal Police Department, led by Ernesto Pollice, in collaboration with the Municipal Police, directed by Commander Biagio Chiariello, and aims to improve road safety and the visibility of signs for drivers and pedestrians.
The plan is developed in two phases. In the first phase, already underway, the interventions will be concentrated above all in the most sensitive areas and with greater pedestrian traffic, such as school entrances, law enforcement buildings (Local Police and Carabinieri), and other key points such as churches and pharmacies.
After via Volpicelli, the works will continue in the following main areas:
Via Naples
Seven Kings Street
Piazza dei Martiri
Piazza Marconi
Via Salvemini
"We have started a timely and urgent intervention to ensure greater safety on the streets of our city. It is a concrete response to the requests of citizens and a tangible confirmation of the commitment of this administration towards the safety and well-being of the entire community. We will continue to work with determination so that Arzano is increasingly safe and livable", explained Councilor Pollice.
«The safety of the territory is, together with the other numerous tasks entrusted to the Local Police, an absolute priority. Every day we carry out constant, intervening with sanctions checks for violations of the highway code, seizures of vehicles and withdrawals of licenses.
Despite the difficulties in finding the necessary economic resources, we are managing to finance the interventions also thanks to the procedures started to recover the sums owed by the offenders. The daily commitment of the Local Police is maximum, but only with the active participation of everyone can we achieve concrete and lasting results", underlined Commander Chiariello.

It is important that the signage resurfacing program is finally underway. However, I wonder if the financial resources are sufficient to cover all the planned interventions. Let's hope that the work is done well and on time.
