Arzano – Green thumb and waste of public money: the complaint of councilor Luigi De Rosa (pictured with Senator Silvestro) who announces the official arrival of government funding for the Sabatino De Rosa stadium.
The Metropolitan City's tender included the purchase and planting of trees in the city but, according to De Rosa, Mayor Aruta and her majority instead squandered 25.000 thousand euros for planting alone.
“They had the barbaric courage to spend 148 euros to plant each individual mini-shrub. In fact – according to the city councilor – the seedlings a few centimeters high would have even been given away while the tender and the specifications would have provided for a minimum circumference of the tree trunk but “the “clever” administration composed of the PD, M5S and Nuove Generazioni calculated this measurement in height”.
De Rosa also announces and thanks Forza Italia Senator Francesco Silvestro, for the official arrival of the 1.700.000 thousand euro funding for the renovation of the municipal stadium. “This comes to fruition after many false announcements and empty promises by those who currently administer the city of Arzano.
Finally Arzano will be able to have a stadium where our children can play again and this is only thanks to the Arzanese senator Franco Silvestro. Now we will ask that the process be speeded up and we will monitor all the various bureaucratic steps. After the waste of public money on the plants and the lights we do not trust this administration”.
