BACOLI – The Bacoli Archaeology Festival (FAB) returns for its third edition, confirming its central role in the valorization of the historical heritage of the Campi Flegrei.
The event will be held from 7 to 10 October 2025 in the suggestive Borbonico del Fusaro Park, with a rich program of meetings, workshops and shows dedicated to the thousand-year history of the territory. “Our mission is to tell the past to understand the present and build a better future”, explains Nicola Barile, director of the festival.
He is echoed by Giovanni Parisi and Giovanni Calvino of TILE Storytellers, who have been organizing the event since 2023: “FAB is a sign of cultural resistance and love for our territory. We want to celebrate the greatness of the Campi Flegrei without being stopped by the difficulties of the moment". Registrations to participate in the new edition are officially open. You can join through the FilmFreeway platform at the link: filmfreeway.com/festivalarcheologiabacoli.

The archaeology festival seems very interesting and leads to reflections on our past. I hope that there will be many visitors and that everyone can appreciate the history of Bacoli, even if there are difficulties.
Yes, it is true that historical heritage must be valued but there are also many other things that deserve attention. I do not know if it is right to give so much importance only to this event.
I think events like these are important for the community, but we also need to think about the current needs of the people who live in Campi Flegrei. We need to find a balance between past and present.
