Torre Annunziata – The military personnel of the Torre Annunziata Carabinieri Group executed an order for the application of a personal precautionary measure of custody in prison issued by the Court of Appeal of Naples at the request of the Attorney General against a 44-year-old woman from Torre Annunziata, believed to be affiliated with the Gionta clan.
In particular, the woman, after being acquitted in the first instance, was sentenced by the Court of Appeal of Naples, which, accepting the request of the Attorney General, pronounced a sentence of 8 years of imprisonment for mafia-type association.
According to the reconstruction, since 2020 he would have participated - together with the leaders of the criminal organization - in the definition of operational strategies relating to retaliatory actions against rival clans such as the IV Sistema, as well as in the management of drug trafficking.
