A new meeting of the Relief Coordination Center (CCS) was held this morning at 12:XNUMX to take stock of the bradyseism situation in the Campi Flegrei.
The meeting, convened by the Prefect of Naples Michele di Bari in collaboration with the Department of Civil Protection, confirmed the continuation of the static checks on the buildings by the Fire Department without interruption. Currently, the interventions concluded are 550, while 360 requests are still pending, for a total of 910 operations.
Since March 13, in the municipalities of Naples, Pozzuoli and Bacoli, the evacuation orders have involved 127 families, equal to 302 people. Of these, 37 are hosted in hotels affiliated with the Campania Region, 19 in reception centers, while the remainder have found autonomous solutions.
During the night, 19 people stayed overnight at the headquarters in Via Acate in Bagnoli, 50 at the Palatrincone in Monterusciello and 6 at Viale Olimpico in Bacoli. At the former NATO base, where a waiting area was set up with a tent structure of the regional Civil Protection, only four people were present this morning.
In the meantime, municipal technicians have accelerated checks on school buildings to allow the safe resumption of teaching activities starting tomorrow morning.
The Prefect of Naples expressed his heartfelt thanks to the police force, the healthcare personnel, the regional Civil Protection, the Fire Brigade, the service companies, the Civil Protection Department, the volunteers and all those who continue to work with commitment in the activities coordinated by the CCS.
