An illegal nursing home was discovered and closed by the Police in Piazza della Repubblica, in the heart of the city: the intervention took place yesterday morning, when the agents of the San Ferdinando Police Station, together with staff of theAsl Napoli 1 Centro – Department of Collective Prevention, they carried out an inspection inside the nursing home.
The checks have brought to light serious irregularities: in addition to lack of health authorization, the officers have ascertained numerous structural and hygienic-sanitary deficiencies, Besides discrepancy between the official plan and the actual state of the places.
Following the irregularities found, the structure was closed immediately and owner reported for failure to communicate the hospitality of the elderly. The guests, on the other hand, were transferred to suitable facilities, guaranteeing them a safe welcome that complies with the expected standards.
