Moments of high tension have been recorded since this morning, March 10, 2025, starting at 8 am, in the town of Pinetamare, in Volturno Castle. A 38-year-old man, originally from Naples and a long-time resident in the area, barricaded himself inside his apartment on the seventh floor of the Royal Residence residential complex, threatening to jump from the balcony.

Local police officers and firefighters intervened on the scene, engaged in a delicate attempt at dialogue to convince the man to desist from his extreme act. The situation, however, remains critical: during the morning, the man threw furnishings and small furniture from the balcony, forcing the police to cordon off the area below. The security cordon prevents anyone from entering or exiting the large apartment building, fueling anxiety among residents.

According to neighbors, the man has been followed by social services for some time, but has never shown particularly dangerous behavior, neither for himself nor for others, until today. The authorities continue operations to manage the emergency, while the local community follows the development of the story with apprehension.
