Ozric Tentacles, renowned British exponents of psychedelic and progressive rock, will perform on April 2nd at the Duel Club in Pozzuoli, Naples. This event is part of an eight-date tour across Italy, with Campania as the only southern stop, organized by Ufficio K. Tickets are available on platforms such as Dice and Ticketone, as well as at authorized retailers.

### Band History

Ozric Tentacles, formed in 1983 at the Stonehenge Free Festival, marked the music scene of the 80s by fusing elements of progressive rock with psychedelia and dance. Led by Ed Wynne, the group has gone through several lineup changes while maintaining a strong musical identity. The current lineup includes Ed Wynne on guitar and keyboards, Silas Wynne on keyboards, Corey Wallace on bass, Pat Garvey on drums and Saskia Maxwell on flute and synth.

### A Unique Musical Experience

With a discography of 17 albums, from their first release “Pungent Effulgent” in 1989 to the most recent “Lotus Unfolding” in 2023, Ozric Tentacles offer concerts full of immersive sounds, mixing new and classic songs. The live performances are characterized by an instrumental impact that combines psychedelia, electronica and progressive. Opening the shows will be the project Silas & Saski, a combination of space-folk and sounds of electronica, psychedelic rock, IDM and dub reggae, featuring Silas Neptune and Saskia Maxwell, both known for their collaborations with bands such as Gong.

I don't know if I'll go to this concert, but it seems interesting to me that Ozric Tentacles are coming back to Italy. Their music has always been a bit strange, but fascinating. Let's hope they bring something new to listen to.
