NAPLES – Widespread checks in the area of Porta Nolana, Piazza Mancini and surrounding areas. Yesterday, the State Police, together with Financial Guard soldiers, to the agents of the Metropolitan and Local Police, All 'ASL Naples 1 andlabor Inspectorate, conducted an extraordinary operation to control the territory, aimed at urban security and the fight against illegal activities.
During the operation they were identified 164 people, among which 13 with police records. Two people were denounced, one for possession of narcotic substances for personal use, the other for smuggling of foreign manufactured tobacco, with related administrative sanctions.
On the road front, they have been 32 vehicles checked e 4 violations contested Highway Code. Particular attention was also paid to the commercial establishments in the area: on 9 activities monitored, have been raised 34 prescriptions for irregularities of various nature, with 6 administrative sanctions for a grand total of 11.000 €.
During the checks, they were also 10 kilos of untraceable food products seized, deemed non-compliant with current health regulations. The intervention is part of a broader plan to monitor and control the most sensitive areas of the city, often at the center of critical issues related to degradation, illegal sales and public safety. The authorities ensure that the checks will continue in the coming days.
