Ercolano – They were arrested yesterday on charges of kidnapping and mistreatment of their 19-year-old daughter, because they opposed her romantic relationship with a transgender boy, but the judge decided to release them from prison.
The Court has in fact validated the arrest of the two parents of Ercolano, respectively 47 and 43 years old, but has not deemed the precautionary requirements to be existent, allowing the couple to return to freedom.
According to the accusations, the two would have segregated the young woman in the house to prevent her from seeing her twenty-year-old partner, engaged in a gender transition process, with whom the girl has been in a relationship for about a year. A case that has raised indignation and ignited the debate on the protection of the rights of LGBTQ+ people.
