NAPLES – The Federico II University of Naples confirms its excellence in the Italian and international academic panorama, achieving national primacy in Dentistry and ranking among the top 120 universities in the world in this discipline.
The prestigious recognition comes from the fifteenth edition of the QS World University Rankings, the ranking that evaluates the performance of over 1.700 universities in 100 countries. The Neapolitan university, which occupies the 347º place in the general ranking, shines in good 37 disciplines. In addition to its primacy in Dentistry, it stands out in Classics and Ancient History, where it is third in Italy (behind the Sapienza University of Rome, world leader, and the Alma Mater of Bologna) and is placed 36th globally.
It also achieves excellent results in Agriculture (71st position), Pharmacy (80th), Civil and Veterinary Engineering (between 51st and 100th position). Also The Oriental of Naples obtains significant recognition, with four citations in international rankings. The best result comes in Classics and Ancient History (between 51st and 100th position), followed by Archeology, where it is placed between the 201st and 260th place.
