The State Police reported two men aged 56 and 40, both Neapolitans with criminal records, for receiving stolen goods and selling counterfeit products.
The operation started yesterday afternoon, when the agents of the Police Station Ischia, engaged in checks along the Strada Statale 270 in Forio d'Ischia, stopped a car with the two suspects on board.
During the inspection of the vehicle, the police found several boxes containing smartphones and accessories, all of which turned out to be fake. The men, unable to justify their origin, were reported. The investigation continues to trace the supply chain of the counterfeit goods.
