Frattamaggiore – Yesterday, the State Police conducted an extraordinary territorial control service in the municipalities of frattamaggiore and Frattaminore.
The officers of the Frattamaggiore Police Station, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, identified 149 people, 28 of whom had a police record, and checked 58 vehicles, seizing one car for administrative irregularities. 9 violations of the Highway Code were also contested, for a total of over 2.500 euros in administrative fines.
During the operations, two people subjected to restrictive measures were also checked.
Also on the same day, the officers arrested a 47-year-old from Frattaminore, with a criminal record, for aggravated robbery and assault.
The intervention took place in via Michelangelo Lupoli, where a person, clearly agitated, reported having been attacked and robbed of his cell phone by a man on a bicycle.
Thanks to the descriptions provided by the victim and the analysis of the video surveillance images, the police quickly tracked down and stopped the suspect, finding him in possession of the stolen smartphone. The 47-year-old was arrested and taken to the police station.

It is a fact that the police does its job but 149 people identified seems like a lot to me. Maybe there are security problems or that there are too many controls around. I hope the situation improves.
