Frattamaggiore – Things went badly for the group of bandits who attempted a robbery this morning at the Credito Popolare bank branch on Via Vittorio Emanuele.
The bandits, who were awaited by two accomplices outside, were stopped thanks to the prompt intervention of the Carabiniere, the police and the local police who rushed to the scene when from inside one of the employees managed to trigger the alarm connected to the operations centres of the police force.
The bandits had threatened the branch manager asking him to open the safe, but their clumsy attempt went up in smoke with the arrival of the carabinieri and the police who managed to block all the bandits.
