According to the reconstruction of the Carabinieri of the mobile radio section of Giugliano, during an argument the man allegedly violently hit his partner and threw his cell phone at her, causing her to lose two teeth and fracture her jaw. The victim was rescued and taken to the local hospital, where she reported the attack to the military.
The partner, a 25 year old resident of Giugliano, was arrested on charges of serious injuries and placed under house arrest pending trial. The episode sparked strong indignation in the local community, highlighting once again the emergency of domestic violence.
