An innovative and engaging theatrical show, entitled HOMO CIVILUS – EXPERIENCE, arrives on the stage of the Teatro Bolivar in Naples. Written and directed by Maldestro, with actors Mariano Gallo, Luigi Credendino, Rosaria Vitolo and Maldestro himself, the show promises to challenge traditional theatrical conventions.
A unique experience in the theatrical panorama
HOMO CIVILUS Experience invites the audience to actively participate in an immersive and irreverent experience. Set in the context of the contradictions of modern society, the work explores themes of cynicism, irony and a desperate search for meaning. The narrative is characterized by a provocative dialogue between four characters: an Artist, a Civil Man, an Author and a Voice, with the addition of a symbolic drone, to represent the growing technological detachment.
A journey between words and music
The stage dynamic is characterized by the interaction between stage and audience, with the audience becoming an integral part of the artistic process. The combination of strobe lights, live sound design and an energetic rhythm create a performance that pushes the spectators to reflect on themselves and the world. It is a show that aims to leave them with questions that will echo beyond the walls of the theater.
The Meaning of Theatrical Experience
Three figures dominate the action: the Artist, the Civilized Man and the Author, each with a decisive role in creating an ideological and existential battle. Completing the picture, the Female Voice introduces data and detached statements, while the surveillance drone represents the eye of modernity. Maldestro, with his innovative approach to theater, offers a show that finds its strength in complexity and in the ability to question the concept of modern civilization.

The show seems interesting, but I don't know if it's really innovative as they say. Sometimes these events are just noise and lights without any real content. I would like to know more about the opinions of those who have seen it.
