The Naples Police Chief has ordered the temporary closure for 15 days of a commercial premises in Ischia, at the request of the island's Carabinieri Company.
The measure, which suspends the provision of food and drink to the public, was adopted to ensure safety and public order after a series of violent episodes.
The facts date back to the afternoon of February 12, when the Carabinieri Operations Room received a report of a fight in progress inside the club. When they arrived on the scene, the military did not find the perpetrators, who had already disappeared.
However, a few hours later, the same carabinieri intervened at the Emergency Room of the Lacco Ameno Hospital, where a man with a head wound declared that he had been involved in a fight, which broke out for trivial reasons, right inside the commercial establishment.
The measure ordered by the Police Chief aims to prevent further situations of danger for the community, responding firmly to episodes that threaten the tranquility and safety of citizens.

This decision by the police commissioner seems right because it is important to maintain security in the premises. However, I wonder if the 15-day closure is enough to stop these violent episodes that are occurring.
