A tragic accident occurred this morning at dawn in the Pregiato area of Cava de' Tirreni, precisely on Viale Troiano.

A young man from Castel San Giorgio lost his life following a car crash into a low wall along the road.
The causes of the accident are still to be ascertained. A 118 crew and the Carabinieri immediately intervened on site to manage the emergency and start the necessary investigations.

Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for the young man because when the ambulance arrived his heart had already stopped beating.
The body and the car have been seized. Now the autopsy and the investigation will establish the causes of death and the dynamics of the accident.
